Hi, I'm Kyle! I am a classically-trained cellist and professional guitarist with over 13 years of experience playing, performing, and teaching. In every aspect of my musical work, I aim to create beautiful and enjoyable experiences for all. I specialize in classical guitar and cello music as well as flamenco guitar, but I am always open to performing in a style that fits your needs.

ABOUT KYLE MENDEZ
With over 13 years of experience playing, performing, and teaching both the guitar and cello, Kyle is a musician at heart and a lifelong learner. From a young age, he's been fascinated with the guitar and especially flamenco and reggaeton styles of music given his Puerto Rican heritage. He studied the cello during his time at James Madison University, leading to a Bachelor's of Arts in Music Education. Since finishing his classical training, he has been living in Richmond, VA teaching guitar and orchestra to Richmond Public Schools students and performing at special gatherings like weddings and organizational events.
He is excited to work with you to bring the magic of live music to your wedding, to compose a piece for your next passion project, to teach you or a friend/family member the guitar/cello, and to continue to make music more accessible for all.
